The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do, to map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features such as the self vacuum-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden from view and also cleans and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or if there's clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can want. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum mop combo robot that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are great, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
